101 Ways to Serve

This is my list of 101 ways to serve. It is the answer to the question, "What can we do support our country and support our new president?" You are invited to help build this list. Big or small it all counts.
  1. Read to a child
  2. Shovel snow for someone
  3. Serve as a mentor
  4. Write a book of your experiences
  5. Adopt a Pubic Spot (a park, roadside section, etc.) that needs attention and Keep it Clean.
  6. Read to Kids at your Recreation Center or Library.
  7. Become a Big Brother
  8. Give Blood
  9. Work Out 15 Minutes Daily - Poor health taxes medicaid and the health care system
  10. Pray for your Leaders!
  11. Educate ones self more on U.S. history & Current events (CNN, MSNBC etc...)
  12. Do one charitable thing in your community per quarter (Habitat for Humanity, Donate, After school programs etc...).
  13. Turn off television and hand your child a book and pick one up for yourself (lead by example).
  14. Make family dinner a routine and during that time discuss current events, Finances (Good credit, budgeting, etc...) and the importance of higher education.
  15. Remind yourself daily that anything and everything is possible. "The expert at anything was once a beginner" (unknown).
