Question of the Day 26: What guides your decisions making process?

I just realized I'm on Day 26. I just thought it was kind of funny since there is an R&B group with the same name. Anyways, my decision-making process is quite complicated. Lets take for example a major purchase (I did my thesis on this by the way) I am considering. A major purchase will be defined as something that is not bought on a regular basis such as a car or a TV. If I was considering buying a TV I will first do research into what I am interested in. What am I really looking for? Then I will compare prices. Pricing can turn into something that happens for a while. I will become so familiar with different prices where I will truly recognize I good deal or not. This will happen by habitually checking prices for an extended period of time. After I check prices I may purchase it in my mind. I weigh the pros and cons of the purchase. Is it really worth buying now? Can I afford it? After purchasing in my mind and asking the necessary questions, I will make a decision. So to recap my decision-making process, it would typically consist of research or evaluating the situation, laying out the all the possibilities, preparing to take action, weighing the pros and cons, and then taking the most logical action.
